Broadview Networks (News - Alert) has been honored by the State of New York Department of Public Service for the third time in the past three years. The annual Service Quality Commendation Program recognizes organizations that offer commendable service to their customers. These commendations come at the suggestion of the State of New York Office of Telecommunications.
Broadview Networks is a major provider of hosted voice, data and cloud computing solutions. The organization’s service fulfilled all the pre-defined norms that were decided by the Public Service Commission or PSC. It is mandatory for the carriers to offer service over their own facilities in order to qualify for the recommendation. They are also required to have less than 3.3 “troubles” per 100 phone lines. An organization’s monthly performance for each central office is measured in terms of Customer Trouble Report Rate. A maximum of yearly 0.075 or PSC complaints per 1,000 access lines is necessary to qualify for the recommendation.
In a statement, Brian Crotty, COO of Broadview, said, “We are proud to be recognized by the Commission for the third year in a row. We strive to continually deliver outstanding quality and service to our customers, both in New York and nationwide. This award demonstrates Broadview’s commitment to providing the highest level of customer care possible.”
