AMERICAN SYSTEMS Awarded Prime Task Order by the United States Army Reserve Command

AMERICAN SYSTEMS, one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States with approximately 1,500 employees nationwide, recently won a GSA (News - Alert) Connections II task order worth $56,000,000 from the United States Army Reserve Command.
As per this single-award, firm-fixed-price task order, AMERICAN SYSTEMS will provide voice and secret Internet protocol router network communications support services at USARC facilities nationwide.
The AMERICAN SYSTEMS team will also perform various services to encompass operations, administration and maintenance of the USARC enterprise's voice communications network, including communications systems support, billing, circuit provisioning, secret Internet protocol router network, service desk and lifecycle support including VoIP implementation.
In a statement, Richard Tkac, AMERICAN SYSTEMS vice president and general manager, Design & Installation Services, said, "AMERICAN SYSTEMS has extensive knowledge and experience in installing and supporting voice & SIPRNet communications networks, and we look forward to working with the Army Reserve in providing operations, maintenance and enhancement services across their enterprise."
The contract, which has a two and half year period of performance, will also see the AMERICAN SYSTEMS team providing a highly skilled workforce to enhance operations and effectiveness of the Army Reserves nationwide PBX (News - Alert) & SIPR communications network including consolidated billing.
Officials confirmed that that work will be performed at 900 USARC locations across the United States, including Army Reserve Command at Ft. Bragg, NC. Advanced technologies will help improve the USARC infrastructure and reduce overall costs.
